We understand that excitement of motherhood comes with many challenges – the biggest of which is often finding time for self-care. At East Side Yoga, we pride ourselves on providing you and your fellow mothers with a safe, serene space where you can take a break from the daily demands on your time and body and spend some time simply taking care of yourself. Teacher Stephanie Cruse knows first-hand the balancing act of taking care of your little one and taking care of yourself, and believes yoga is an ideal practice to manage both.
This class is designed specifically to help mothers' bodies recover from giving birth - whether you're working to regain your strength or simply re-acquainting yourself with your body. Post-baby bodies can take time to heal, so whether it's been months or years since your little one was born, if you're still trying to strengthen your postpartum body, then this class is for you. Carve out some time for self-care and come relax with a community of mothers who are all on similar journeys to your own.
Moms should be cleared by their obstetrician for physical activity at their 6 or 8-week postpartum appointment before taking this class.
