April's Intention: Connecting with Community
March 30, 2015

Too often, we find ourselves rushing from place to place, eyes glued to our phones, lost in our thoughts and our own little worlds. As a result, we miss many valuable opportunities to connect with the many wonderful people around us, and at the end of the day we feel isolated and disconnected without fully understanding why.
Here at East Side Yoga, our mission is to bring members of the community together, which is why we've worked so hard to build a space where you'll feel comfortable to coming early or staying after your class to get to know your fellow yogis - many of whom are also your neighbors! We've also added some fun social events - like our Hip Hop Happy hours - to our calendar to give you even more opportunities to connect with like-minded folks on and off the mat.
At the end of each class at East Side Yoga, we reflect on the intention we set at the beginning of our practice. This month we're focusing on being present, getting to know each and every yogi that comes to the studio, and encouraging you all to connect with each other. We love our studio and we want you to feel as much at home here as we do. So please stop in, bring a friend, and stay a while. Our April Intention of the Month is to connect with community, and we look forward to connecting with you and welcoming you into our community!
