about our classes
The vinyasa flow style of teaching forms the core of our class offerings at east side yoga. We understand that once you've gotten familiar with the basics, labels like "beginner," "intermediate," and "advanced" aren't particularly useful when deciding which class to take. So instead, our classes are named based on the experience you'll have on the mat. Check in with yourself and choose the class that works best for you today!
All attendees must be 18 years or older.
To attend one of our regularly-scheduled group classes, you are always welcome to walk-in, or you can sign up ahead of time by clicking "schedule" above. We always recommend that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the class' scheduled start time; for walk-ins, we recommend 10 minutes.
Latecomers will be admitted into indoor classes after centering is completed, up to 15 minutes after class has begun. Latecomers will NOT be admitted into rooftop classes once centering is completed (approx. 5 min after class is scheduled to begin).
We recommend you bring your own mat. If you don’t have your own, we have mats available to rent for $2.
Hands-on adjustments will be offered;
if you prefer not to be adjusted, please inform your instructor before class.
*please note: Prenatal classes are priced separately from our regular group classes. For more details on our Prenatal offerings and pricing, click here.
This semi-private class provides our pregnant yoginis the opportunity to take a class that is led in a safe way that accounts for the many changes occurring in your bodies. Modifications will be offered to allow you to tailor the practice to your particular needs, goals, and stage of pregnancy. Hands-on assists will also be offered; if you prefer not to be adjusted, please inform your instructor before class. Our Prenatal instructors are highly experienced and trained in Prenatal yoga, and are excited to share their wealth of knowledge with you!
